Long before the summer of 2018 in Northwest Khyber region of Pakistan, in the tribal areas near Peshawar, Aradrilla UK have been granted a fracking licence by the Pakistani national government. After the successful launch of fracking station No1 near Peshawar. The local Taliban launched a full scale attack, killing a number of local co. workers and multiple members of the Aradrilla UK organization. Aradrilla UK have since been granted local police protection, although the local police have little or no power left within their ranks after being rocked by many public corruption scandals. A new divisional commander has been assigned to try and regain control and start negotiations between local tribal leaders and Taliban war lords.
After unsuccessful tribal meetings and multiple attacks on the fracking station, the Taliban war lords turned to even more guerrilla style tactics by placing IED’s on the fuel convey roads. Imbedded news reported Fanny Muff from BNN said “this was some of the worst attacks ever seen in the Peshawar area of Khyber, There has been a consistent amount of casualties and the situation is becoming increasingly out of control.”
After reaching international attention, NATO agreed with the Pakistani government to send in security forces made up of US JSOC & UKSF to restore law and order in the Khyber region, There main role is to protect the fracking station along with all co. workers and to maintain convey routes to ensure they stay open.
MOD has listed operation AURORA as their highest priority, the main objective is locate and capture local Taliban war lords.
Attached to US JSOC & UKSF are 2 MOD intelligence officers, who have a secondary mission unknown to the rest of the teams, limited information on this is available at our level. The MI6 and CIA are in talks and further information will become available for those with the relevant clearance to assist in 2 night covert raids/missions.
The main concern being the possible WMD in the local area with Taliban involvement and to prevent loss of a Khyber’s natural resources. With the local elections set April 2019 next year, its feared Taliban war lords are set on leading a tribal war.
