Nottingham players have an easier run than they might expect: The Kingdom is around the hour, mostly on the A50. Our 200-acre woodland site sits at Huntley Wood, Cheadle.

It’s long but simple, much of it dual carriageway, ending with free parking and a sprawling battlefield.

A day worth the miles

With 200 acres to play across, The Kingdom rewards the drive. We run open skirmishes plus bigger BattleSims, MilSims and weekenders through the year.

Camping pods on site turn the big games into weekends, and hire kit is there for anyone who needs it.

Getting here from Nottingham

Follow the A50 west almost the whole way:

  1. Join the A52 then the A50 westbound past Derby
  2. Stay on the A50 towards Stoke-on-Trent
  3. Exit towards Uttoxeter / Cheadle
  4. Follow signs to Huntley Wood and set sat-nav to ST10 2NS
