By purchasing anything from this website — event tickets, products, membership, equipment hire, site hire or camping pods — you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before placing an order; if you do not accept them, please do not buy from or use the Site.

Buying is agreeing

Placing any order or booking means you accept these terms in full.

Safety comes first

Eye protection is mandatory, FPS limits apply, and the Marshal’s word is final.

All sales are final

Event tickets, deposits and camping pods are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Play at your own risk

Airsoft is a physical sport; you take part understanding and accepting the risks.

1. About us and these terms

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of op-tac.co.uk (the “Site”) and everything you buy or book from us — including airsoft event tickets, club membership, equipment and night-vision hire, exclusive site hire, private parties, corporate and film/TV bookings, camping pods, and products from our online store.

By purchasing anything from this Site — any ticket, product, membership, booking, hire or camping pod — you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not place an order or use the Site.

The Site and our business are operated by Robert Blakemore, trading as OP Tactical UK (a sole trader):

We may update these Terms from time to time (see section 19). The version published on the Site when you place your order is the version that applies to that order.

2. Definitions

  • “We”, “us”, “our” — OP Tactical UK (Robert Blakemore, sole trader).
  • “You”, “your” — the person browsing the Site, placing an order, booking, or attending an Event or our venue.
  • “Event” — any airsoft activity we run, including open and skirmish days, half days, beginner days, BattleSims, MilSims, weekenders, Clash and Rumble events, and any other game day.
  • “Booking” — any reservation you make with us, including event tickets, equipment hire, camping pods, exclusive site hire, parties, corporate days and film/TV hire.
  • “The Kingdom” / “the venue” — our airsoft site at Huntley Wood, Cheadle, and any other site we operate or use for an Event.
  • “Marshal” — a member of our staff responsible for running the game and enforcing safety.
  • “RIF” — a Realistic Imitation Firearm, as defined by the Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006.

3. Eligibility and age requirements

To buy from or book with us you must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.

  • The minimum playing age is 11. Players aged 11–13 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times while at the venue.
  • Players under 16 must be signed in by a parent or guardian and must wear a full-face mask at all times in the game area.
  • Where a player is under 18, a parent or guardian must complete and sign the relevant consent and disclaimer before play, and may be required to remain on site.
  • Some Events (for example MilSims, weekenders and certain BattleSims) carry a higher minimum age or experience requirement — always check the individual Event listing before booking.
  • Pyrotechnics may only be used by players aged 18 or over.
  • Buying age-restricted products (including RIFs, pyrotechnics and gas) is subject to the age and verification rules in section 12.

4. Booking events and tickets

Event tickets are bought through the Site. Each Event has its own listing setting out the date, times, format, player limit, minimum age, and what is and is not included — please read it before booking, as the individual Event listing forms part of these Terms.

  • A booking is confirmed only once we have received payment (or the stated deposit) and sent you an order confirmation. We may decline or cancel a booking at our discretion (for example where an Event is full, or where you have previously been removed from an Event).
  • Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Some Events sell on a deposit-now, balance-later basis — where a balance is due, it must be paid by the date stated or the place (and any deposit) may be forfeited.
  • Unless the Event listing says otherwise, tickets do not include BBs, gas, pyrotechnics or other consumables, meals, or equipment hire — these may be bought separately.
  • You are responsible for arriving in time for registration and the safety brief. Latecomers may miss the brief and be refused entry to the game area, with no refund.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and, where applicable, include VAT at the prevailing rate. We take payment securely at checkout through our payment providers — WooPayments and Stripe (including Apple Pay and Google Pay) and PayPal. We do not store your full card details.

  • We try to ensure all prices are correct, but if we discover an error in the price of something you have ordered we will tell you and give you the option to continue at the correct price or cancel for a full refund of that item.
  • Discounts and member pricing apply only where stated and cannot be combined with other offers unless we say so.
  • Tickets and bookings are personal to you and must not be re-sold or transferred for profit.

6. Cancellations, refunds and transfers (events and bookings)

All deposits and payments for Events, camping pods and other bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable. By booking, you accept that if you cannot attend you will not be entitled to a refund, or to move your payment to another date or person, except where we cancel an Event (see section 16) or where you have a non-excludable legal right to a refund.

  • This applies to event tickets, deposits, balance payments, camping pods, parties and other bookings.
  • No-shows — if you do not attend, or arrive too late to be safely admitted, your payment is forfeited.
  • If you are unable to attend, please let us know as early as you can; while refunds are not given, we will always try to help where we reasonably can.
  • Physical goods bought from our online store are covered separately by your consumer cancellation and return rights — see section 13.

7. On-site rules, safety and player conduct

Airsoft is an exciting but physically demanding activity that involves firing plastic BBs at speed. Your safety, and that of everyone around you, depends on following the rules. By attending you agree to comply with all site rules, signage and instructions given by our Marshals and staff.

  • Eye protection is mandatory for everyone in the game area at all times. Full-seal goggles or glasses to a suitable rated standard must be worn; players under 16 must wear a full-face mask. We strongly recommend a full-face mask, gloves and suitable boots for all players.
  • FPS / energy limits (measured using your chosen BB weight): sidearms and full-auto/semi-auto weapons up to 350 fps; semi-auto-only up to 450 fps with a 25m minimum engagement distance (sidearm required); bolt-action up to 500 fps with a 30m minimum engagement distance (sidearm required). All weapons are chronographed and must pass before use.
  • All weapons must be cleared, magazines removed and placed on safe in the safe zone. No firing, dry-firing or aiming of weapons in the safe zone.
  • BBs and pyrotechnics must be biodegradable. Only approved pyrotechnics (TLSFX and Enola Gaye) are permitted; pyrotechnics must be thrown underarm, are for players aged 18+ only, and have a 5-metre “kill radius” unless you are behind hard cover.
  • Call your hits honestly, follow the game rules and respect minimum engagement distances.
  • Zero-tolerance conduct policy. Violence, intimidation, bullying, abusive behaviour, cheating or dangerous play towards players, Marshals or staff will not be tolerated. We operate a three-strike disciplinary system and, for serious breaches, may remove you immediately.
  • No alcohol or drugs. You must not play under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Anyone suspected of being under the influence will be refused entry or removed from the Event.
  • The Marshal’s decision is final at all times. If you are removed from an Event or the venue for breaching the rules, no refund will be given and you may be banned from future Events.
  • You are responsible for your own equipment and belongings. Do not bring real firearms, illegal items, or anything likely to endanger others onto the site.

8. Equipment and night-vision hire

We offer rental packages so you can play without your own kit, including weapon-and-kit hire and specialist night-vision hire. Where hire is available it will be shown on the relevant Event or hire listing.

  • A standard hire package typically includes a rental weapon, a magazine and eye/face protection; BBs, gas and consumables are not included unless stated.
  • Hired equipment remains our property. You must use it correctly and in line with our instructions and safety rules, and return it at the end of the day in the condition you received it (fair wear and tear excepted).
  • You are responsible for loss of, or damage to, hired equipment beyond fair wear and tear, including night-vision devices and optics, and agree to pay the reasonable cost of repair or replacement. We may require a deposit and/or photographic ID against hire, and may take payment for loss or damage from your card or deposit.
  • Night-vision and other high-value items may carry additional conditions, a higher minimum age and a separate deposit, which will be made clear at the time of hire.

9. Camping pods and overnight stays

For multi-day Events such as weekenders and 24-hour MilSims, we offer luxury camping pods on site so you can stay over in comfort. Pods are booked as an add-on to an Event and are subject to availability.

  • Price and occupancy: pods are £140 per night and sleep up to 4 people. Each pod includes a double bed, bench seating, a wood-burning stove, a kettle, phone-charging facilities and a fire pit.
  • Payment and cancellation: pods are paid for in advance and, like all our bookings, are non-refundable and non-transferable (see section 6).
  • Who can stay: guests under 18 may stay only when accompanied by a responsible adult (18 or over) staying in the same pod, who is responsible for them at all times.
  • No smoking or vaping inside the pods.
  • No pets are allowed in the pods (registered assistance dogs excepted, by prior arrangement).
  • Wood-burning stoves and fire pits must be used responsibly, only as instructed, and never left unattended. Keep flammable items clear, do not block vents, and fully extinguish all fires before sleeping or leaving. Use of stoves and fire pits is entirely at your own risk.
  • Unless the Event listing says otherwise, please bring your own bedding or sleeping bag and towels.
  • Looking after your pod: please treat the pod and its contents with care and have consideration for other guests. You are responsible for any loss or damage you or your group cause (beyond fair wear and tear) and for any additional cleaning required, and agree to pay the reasonable cost. Check-in and check-out times are confirmed with your booking and align with the Event timings.
  • Camping pods are basic outdoor accommodation provided alongside an airsoft Event, not a hotel; you stay subject to all venue and Event rules in these Terms.

10. Exclusive site hire, private parties, corporate and film/TV bookings

The Kingdom — a 200-acre site of woodland, quarries, grassland, lakes and purpose-built structures — is available for exclusive private hire, including private airsoft skirmishes, BattleSims and MilSims, birthday and private parties, corporate team-building and survival days, and film, TV and photography production.

  • These bookings are arranged on a bespoke basis. The rent or package price is agreed at the time of booking, following discussion of your requirements and, where appropriate, a site visit.
  • A refundable security deposit (currently £200) is required for exclusive site hire. It is returned after the booking provided you have met your obligations and there is no loss, damage or additional cleaning; we may deduct from it (or charge you) for any breach, damage or extra cost.
  • Full payment (and any deposit) is due in advance, before the date, unless we agree otherwise in writing. Booking fees and deposits are non-refundable (see section 6).
  • The hirer is responsible for their group’s conduct and for ensuring all participants follow our safety rules. All on-site safety rules in section 7 apply to private and corporate bookings.
  • Film, TV and production bookings may be subject to additional terms, insurance and risk-assessment requirements, which we will agree with you in writing.
  • Specific terms in your written quote or booking confirmation apply in addition to these Terms and, where there is any conflict, the written booking confirmation takes precedence for that booking.

11. Club membership and UKARA registration

Our annual club membership (currently £50 per year) offers benefits including UKARA application and registration (for members aged 18+), discounted Event tickets, a 10% discount at our partner store Staffordshire Militaria, branded merchandise, and access to member-only Events.

  • To join you must complete a membership form and provide two forms of identification and a passport-style photograph, either at an OP Tactical UK Event or in person at Staffordshire Militaria.
  • The minimum age for membership is 11. UKARA registration is available only to members aged 18 or over and provides a recognised defence for buying RIFs from UK retailers.
  • UKARA registration generally requires you to have attended at least three games over a period of not less than two months. Registration is at our discretion and subject to UKARA’s own rules; we cannot guarantee registration.
  • Membership benefits are personal to you and non-transferable, and may change over time. Membership and UKARA registration may be withdrawn if you breach these Terms or are banned from our Events.
  • Membership fees are non-refundable. Membership lasts 12 months unless stated otherwise and does not renew automatically unless we tell you so.

12. Buying products from our online store

We sell airsoft-related products through the Site, including BBs, gas, pyrotechnics, eye protection, gloves, gear, sights and accessories, and Realistic Imitation Firearms (RIFs).

  • Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we send you a dispatch confirmation. If we cannot fulfil an order (for example an item is out of stock or mispriced) we will tell you and refund any payment for that item.
  • RIFs and age-restricted items. It is a criminal offence to sell a RIF to anyone under 18, and we will only sell a RIF where you can show a recognised defence under the Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006 (for example valid UKARA registration, or another lawful defence such as re-enactment or genuine skirmishing). We may ask you to provide verification before we dispatch, and we will cancel and refund any order where a lawful defence cannot be shown.
  • Where you do not have a defence, only two-tone (predominantly brightly coloured) imitation firearms may lawfully be sold to you.
  • Pyrotechnics, gas and other restricted goods are sold only to those aged 18 or over, and you confirm you are 18+ when ordering them. These items must be stored, transported and used safely, lawfully, and in line with the manufacturer’s instructions and our site rules.
  • You are responsible for ensuring it is lawful for you to own and use any item you buy, and for using it safely and responsibly.

13. Delivery, returns and your consumer rights (goods)

This section applies to physical products bought from our online store. It does not apply to Events, bookings, camping pods, hire or memberships, which are covered by section 6.

  • Delivery. We aim to dispatch in-stock orders promptly. Delivery times are estimates. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery, and certain age-restricted goods may require an adult signature.
  • Your right to cancel. If you are a consumer buying online, you generally have the right to cancel within 14 days of receiving the goods under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and to return them within 14 days of telling us. Goods must be unused and in their original condition and packaging. You are responsible for the cost of return unless the goods are faulty or not as described.
  • Exceptions. For health, safety and hygiene reasons, certain items cannot be returned once opened or unsealed — including BBs, gas, pyrotechnics and similar consumables — unless they are faulty. This does not affect your rights in respect of faulty goods.
  • Faulty or mis-described goods. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If goods are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund as appropriate. Please contact us at enquiry@op-tac.co.uk before returning anything.
  • Refunds are made to your original payment method once we have received and inspected the returned goods.

14. Liability and assumption of risk

Airsoft is a physical contact sport and you take part entirely at your own risk. By booking and attending you acknowledge that the activities carry inherent risks — including being struck by BBs, and slips, trips, falls and other injury — and you accept those risks.

  • You confirm you are physically fit to take part and have disclosed any relevant medical condition. If in doubt, seek medical advice before playing.
  • You take part in line with the safety rules, signage and Marshals’ instructions. Failing to follow them may invalidate your participation and increase your risk of injury.
  • We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded under English law.
  • Subject to the above, we are not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from your own failure to follow the rules or to use protective equipment, from the ordinary risks of airsoft, or for loss of or damage to your personal property while at the venue.
  • To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with any Event, booking or order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss.

15. Insurance, photography and your data

  • Insurance. We hold appropriate public liability insurance for the operation of our Events. This does not cover your personal equipment or personal accident, and we recommend you arrange your own cover if you wish.
  • Photography and marketing. We and our staff may take photographs and video at Events for promotion on our Site and social media. If you do not wish to appear, please let a Marshal know and we will use reasonable efforts to accommodate this. Where a participant is under 18, the parent or guardian consents on their behalf when booking.
  • Your data. We handle your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

16. Events we change or cancel (and circumstances beyond our control)

Occasionally we may need to change or cancel an Event — for example due to severe weather, unsafe ground conditions, low numbers, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including fire, flood, storm, power failure, vandalism, illness, or government or emergency restrictions — “force majeure”).

  • If we cancel an Event entirely, we will offer you the choice of a transfer to another date or a credit, and a refund of the amount you paid for that Event where required by law.
  • If we have to change the date, format or timings, we will tell you as soon as we can. Minor changes do not entitle you to a refund.
  • Airsoft Events generally run in all weathers; we will only cancel for weather where it is genuinely unsafe to play.
  • We are not responsible for your travel, accommodation or other costs if an Event is changed or cancelled.

17. Website use and intellectual property

  • You may use the Site for lawful, personal purposes only. You must not misuse it, attempt to gain unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, or use it in any way that could damage or disrupt it.
  • All content on the Site — including text, logos, branding, images, event names and designs — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce or use it without our permission.
  • The Site may contain links to third-party sites (for example UKARA, Staffordshire Militaria and our social media). We are not responsible for their content or practices.
  • We try to keep the Site accurate and available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or withdraw it at any time.

18. Complaints and governing law

  • Complaints. If something isn’t right, please contact us at enquiry@op-tac.co.uk and we’ll do our best to put it right.
  • Governing law. These Terms, and any dispute arising from them, are governed by the laws of England and Wales and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
  • If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest will continue to apply.
  • These Terms are between you and us; no other person has any right to enforce them.

19. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Events, products, practices or the law. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised, and the version in force when you place an order is the one that applies to it. Please check back periodically.
