1. Prepare the Grip: Secure the grenade in your dominant hand, ensuring your fingers firmly depress the safety lever (spoon) against the body of the device.
2. Remove the Pin: Hook your index finger through the pull-ring and retract the cotter pin. The grenade remains inert as long as the lever is held down.
3. Deployment: Identify your target and throw the device. Upon release, the internal firing pin spring will eject the lever with a distinct “pop,” initiating the 3.5 to 4.2-second fuse.
