Beginners Day Skirmish

Ready to dive into the action? Our Beginners Day sessions are the perfect, low-pressure introduction to the thrilling world of airsoft and our fantastic, welcoming community. Whether you are looking for a brand-new weekend hobby, an unforgettable day out with friends, or just a great way to get your adrenaline pumping, this is exactly where you need to be.

Tailored for First-Timers We know that stepping onto an airsoft field for the very first time can feel a little intimidating, which is why we have designed these events entirely around new players. You can choose between an action-packed morning session to get a taste of the game, or go all-in for a full day of tactical fun!

To ensure everyone gets plenty of space and action, we cap these games at a maximum of 50 players. You will be in great company—the vast majority of your teammates and opponents will be picking up an airsoft replica for the very first time, just like you.

Though we do welcome friendly regular and walk on players to help show you the ropes, share basic tactics, and make sure everyone is having a blast.

What to Expect Before the first BB is even fired, our experienced marshals will walk you through a comprehensive safety briefing. We will teach you how the equipment works, explain the game modes, and make sure you feel 100% confident before heading out. Our main focus is on teamwork, fair play, and making sure everyone leaves with a massive smile on their face.

Beginners Day Game Rules: To keep the playing field level and ensure a safe, fun environment for newcomers, we enforce a couple of strict rules for these specific days:

  • FPS Limit: Maximum 350 FPS. Keeping the power capped ensures that getting hit doesn’t sting too much while you are still getting used to the game.

  • Weapon Restrictions: No DMRs (Designated Marksman Rifles) are allowed on Beginners Day. This encourages closer, more active gameplay and ensures new players aren’t getting picked off from a distance by advanced setups.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes walk on is allowed on our Skirmish events. Simply turn up on the day and pay for your event ticket at sign in.

Although you must pre-book if you require hire equipment, failure to do this could lead in us not having the available equipment on the day of the event.

The minimum age requirement to participate in our airsoft events is 11 years old.

For players under 16 attending our game days, we have a couple of safety and supervision rules in place:

Ages 11 to 13: Must be accompanied on site by a parent or guardian at all times.

Ages 14-17: Must be signed in at check-in by a parent or guardian upon arrival and must wear full-face protection in the gaming area at all times.

Standard hire provides an airsoft gun, one magazine and eye/face protection along with a plate carrier/chest rig.

Advanced hire adds an enhanced gun, red-dot sight and a second magazine.

UKARA is a player-registration scheme used to help retailers verify eligibility to buy realistic imitation firearms; it is not a requirement for playing airsoft.

Tell staff which friends or team you would like to play alongside. We will take your preferences into account, but teams need to be balanced. We will do our best to keep you together throughout the event.
